Lesson Program

 

Our lesson program revolves around important pillars of riding; safety being the most important of all. Fun and goal setting are also the main focus of our program.   

 

Our program  provides structure both on and off the horse. Each student will become a horseman before becoming a rider. Horsemanship involves everything on and off the horse which includes grooming, tacking,  and care of the tack. With out horsemanship and care for the horse, riding would not be possible.

Important Lesson Info!!

**NEW LESSONS STUDENTS MUST GET APPROVAL BEFORE SCHEDULING**

* Students are requested to come 30 minutes prior to their lesson to learn to tack and care for their horse. Students should also expect to stay approximately 30 minutes after their lesson to care for their horse and equipment.

 

* Lessons are offered for students 6 and up. 

​

* Students must arrive in close toe shoes with a minimum of 1" heel (paddock boots, cowboy boots, fashion boots) . No tennis shoes or sandals permitted while riding or working around horses. 

​

*Riders must wear long pants (jeans, leggins, riding pants). NO SHORTS. 

​

*Helmets are provided, however riders are welcome to bring their own as long as they are ASTM approved. NO BIKE HELMETS.

Lesson Types

​

Private Lessons

Private lessons will be conducted by Brea and will be scheduled based on both the trainer's and student's availability. Private lessons are offered in 30 minute or 60 minute intervals. We do not offer hour lesson to ages 6 and under. 

​

Group lessons: 

We only offer group lessons for students capable of walking/trotting unassisted. Groups are organized by age and capabilities.

30 min. private lesson: $45 

60 min. private lesson: $65

1. 4 30 minute Private lessons at $160 

2. 4 60 minute private lessons at $220

*Cancellation Policy: Lessons that are cancelled 24 hours before the lesson will not be charged. Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the lesson will be charged. No call, no show lessons will be charged
